Unnat Bharat Abhiyan
The Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Ministries of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj have agreed to link all higher education institutes with rural development progress under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA). A tripartite agreement between MHRD.ministry of Rural Development and ministry of Panchayati Raj was signed on 012 January 2017 as an attempt to bring about substantial improvement in the formulation and delivery of development schemes in the rural area. It is envisaged that representation of Higher education institutions would interact with local bodies and community in selected village clusters and provide knowledge inputs into the provide knowledge input into the Gram Panchayat Development Plans.
